As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with diagnostic privileges, he brings over a decade of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. Steven holds a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Hofstra University and specializes in a diverse range of therapeutic modalities. His experience spans various clinical settings, including non-profit community mental health, substance use agencies, federally qualified healthcare facilities, intensive outpatient and day programs, and private practice. In addition to direct clinical work, he has spent several years supervising clinical staff and overseeing clinical care, playing a key role in the development and expansion of three outpatient behavioral health programs on Long Island, NY. Steven’s approach is integrative and collaborative, creating a safe, empathetic space where clients feel heard and understood. He focuses on identifying and overcoming unhelpful thought patterns, healing past wounds, reducing stress, and building emotional resilience.
